Wall Mounted Sculpture
Wall Mounted Sculpture
A painting sits flat against the wall; a wall mounted sculpture pushes back into the room. That extra dimension — real shadow, real texture, a surface that changes as you walk past it — is what makes this style such a popular choice for spaces where a piece needs genuine presence but there’s no floor space to spare: an entrance hall, above a mantle, behind a boardroom table.
Our wall mounted collection includes Sonia Payes‘s Relics series — mixed-media wall works from the same body of work as her monumental Woman and Re-Emergence pieces — alongside Lucas Guilbert‘s carved timber wall pieces, which use burning, bleaching and distressing techniques to bring out the natural character of the wood. Materials range from bronze and mixed media to flowing mesh, hand-formed stainless steel panels, and aluminium relief — all technically relief sculptures, projecting from a flat backing rather than standing free.
SOHO provides sculpture for both public and private display spaces – offering our 35-year experience and knowledge of the art and sculpture industry to assist in the acquisition, commission, freight, and installation of sculpture.

Wall mounted sculpture FAQ
How is a wall mounted sculpture installed? Most pieces mount using a concealed French cleat or bracket system rated for the sculpture’s weight and material — we can advise on wall type and mounting hardware when you order.
How much does a wall mounted sculpture cost? Prices vary by size, material and artist — smaller relief pieces start in the low thousands, with larger or more elaborate works priced higher.
Can a wall mounted sculpture be commissioned to fit a specific wall or space? Yes — several of our sculptors take commissions to a specific size, so the piece is proportioned correctly for your space.
