Cherry Blossom Paintings
Yosi Messiah’s cherry blossom paintings are built from dense, small marks: hundreds of individual petals layered over grounds of gold, blue, pink and silver until the canvas reads as one shimmering field of colour. The blossom is the recurring motif, joined by garden scenes, bees, swimmers and a pink tree of life, all painted with the same bright, celebratory energy.
