Bronze sculpture for interiors
Many of SOHO's bronzes are made for interiors: on a plinth, console or sideboard, in a stairwell, foyer or living room. Tabletop pieces sit comfortably on a shelf or desk, while larger floor-standing bronzes make a statement in an open-plan space. See all our interior sculpture.
Bronze statues and figures
Most people searching for a bronze statue want a figure: a dancer, a swimmer, a horse, a seated woman. SOHO's bronze statues are works by living Australian sculptors, cast in Australian foundries, in sizes from 25cm tabletop pieces to life-size figures. Browse figurative sculpture, animal sculpture and tabletop sculpture, or see bronzes made for outdoors in our garden sculpture collection.
With Australia boasting some of the finest foundries in the world, SOHO has absolute confidence in the make and finish on all sculptural work showcased. Sculptors represented by SOHO are all practicing artists and as such commissioned pieces and custom patina finishes are available. See our guide to bronze patina colours and finishes. Bronze sculpture FAQ
What is a bronze sculpture? A bronze sculpture is a three-dimensional artwork cast in bronze using the lost-wax method, valued for its durability and fine surface detail.
What's the difference between a bronze statue and a bronze sculpture? There is no formal difference. "Statue" usually means a representational figure of a person or animal, while "sculpture" is the broader term and also covers abstract and contemporary forms. Our collection includes both.
Are your bronzes limited editions? Yes. Our bronzes are cast in limited editions, often small runs such as 9 or 10.
Is bronze sculpture suitable for indoors? Yes. Bronze is made to be displayed inside on a plinth, console or sideboard, and many pieces also suit a sheltered garden.
How much does a bronze sculpture cost? Price depends on the artist, size and edition — tabletop bronzes start in the low thousands, with large outdoor works higher. Browse the collection or contact SOHO Galleries for current pricing.
Can bronze sculptures go outside? Yes — bronze develops a protective patina and withstands weather for generations, ideal for gardens and public spaces.
