Consultation & Design
Advisory Services for collectors, designers and developers.
Our advisory service is complimentary. Whether you’re furnishing a single room or procuring art for a commercial building, we work to your brief, your budget, and your timeline. We represent over 60 Australian artists and sculptors, and we’ll tell you honestly if nothing in our collection suits your project.
Art Advisory & Design Consultation
Our consultants work with private collectors, interior designers, architects, and developers to find artwork that fits your space, your budget, and your aesthetic. You decide how much or how little involvement you need: a single recommendation, a curated shortlist, or a full project brief. We suggest works by artist, style, medium, scale, or palette. All advisory services are complimentary.
Artwork Visualisations & Room Mock-Ups
Before you commit to anything, we can place shortlisted artworks onto photographs of your space, or onto architectural plans and design drawings at scale. Seeing a work at the right dimensions, in the actual room where it will hang, is a different experience to viewing it in the gallery. For Sydney clients, we can also bring works to your home or office for a real-world trial at no cost.
Corporate & Commercial Art Placement
We work with hotel groups, property developers, architects, and commercial interior designers to source and place artwork at scale. From a single reception piece to a multi-floor fitout, we manage selection, approvals, procurement, delivery, and installation as one service. We work to construction timelines and coordinate directly with project managers on-site.
Painting Commissions
Sometimes the right artwork doesn’t exist yet. We work with over 30 active Australian painters, many of whom take commissions. Bring us a brief: size, palette, mood, reference images. We’ll match you with the right artist, manage the timeline, and keep you informed throughout. Commissions are available for residential and commercial clients.

We don’t sell prints or reproductions. Every painting in our galleries is an original, made by the artist. Our collection spans contemporary abstraction, landscape, figurative, and mixed media, with a particular strength in large-format and statement works. Our Woollahra gallery holds rotating stock. Call or come in to see what’s currently available.
Original Australian Paintings
An extensive selection of original works by Australian artists across contemporary abstraction, landscape, figurative, and mixed media. Our collection turns over regularly as exhibitions close and new works arrive. If you’re looking for something specific, call or come in. Stock changes faster than the website, and some of the best works are never listed online.
Large Format & Statement Art
SOHO galleries always presents a wide selection of large and oversized canvases from Australian Artists: works that fill a wall, anchor an open-plan living space, or command a double-height entry. We can advise on scale relative to your architecture. The most common mistake when buying art for a large room is going too small, and we’ll tell you that before you commit.
Lounge & Dining Room Art
Art in a home needs to work with your furniture, your light, and the way a room feels at different times of day. Not just look good in a photograph. We’re good at helping people find work that feels right at home rather than merely gallery-appropriate. We look at your colours, finishes, and furniture before suggesting anything.
Gift Vouchers & Art Gifting
Original art is a meaningful gift. The kind that stays with someone for decades rather than sitting in a drawer. We offer gift vouchers redeemable against any work in our collection, and can coordinate contributions from friends or family toward a specific piece. Purchases can be presented as gifts with a Certificate of Authenticity, artist biography, and care documentation.

Sculpture
Bronze, stainless, metal and limited editions.
SOHO Galleries has one of the strongest sculpture collections in Sydney. We represent Australian sculptors working in bronze, stainless steel, fabricated metal, and glass, from small indoor editions through to life-size and monumental outdoor works. Every sale includes advice on siting, pedestal, maintenance, and long-term care.
Bronze Sculpture
A broad selection of Australian bronze sculpture in figurative, abstract, and natural forms, from desktop scale through to large garden and outdoor works. Bronze ages well and holds up indefinitely outdoors, which makes it a practical choice for garden, courtyard, and entry installations. We advise on patina selection, outdoor sealing, and the maintenance required to keep a work looking its best over time.
Metal & Stainless Steel Sculpture
Stainless and fabricated metal sculpture has a cleaner, more contemporary line than bronze, and it reads differently in different light conditions. Our metal sculpture ranges from polished stainless abstracts through to raw fabricated forms. It performs well in contemporary architecture and suits commercial and outdoor environments where durability matters as much as appearance.
Limited Edition Sculpture
Many of our sculptors cast or fabricate in limited runs, typically editions of ten or fewer. Limited edition works give collectors the craftsmanship and permanence of original sculpture at a more accessible price than a unique work. They hold value well. We can advise on edition size, remaining availability, and provenance documentation for any work in our collection.
Sculpture Commissions
A number of our sculptors accept commissions in bronze, stainless, glass, and mixed metals. Whether you’re commissioning for a specific site, a defined scale, or a particular material and finish, we manage the full process: concept discussion, artist selection, briefing, fabrication updates, and final delivery and installation. Residential and commercial commissions are both welcome.
Outdoor & Garden Sculpture
Selecting sculpture for an outdoor environment involves different considerations than indoor work. Material durability, scale relative to the landscape, sightlines, seasonal light, and ongoing maintenance all factor in. We can visit your garden or site to advise on placement, and coordinate with landscapers and builders for integrated installations. Our outdoor collection suits Sydney’s climate and coastal conditions.
Sculpture Hire
Sculpture hire is available for events, hospitality venues, hotel lobbies, show apartments, retail spaces, and film and television productions. Our hire collection spans small indoor pieces through to large exterior works. Hire includes delivery and collection. Installation is available as an additional service. We are used to working with event timelines and venue access requirements.

Professional installation makes a real difference to how art reads in a space. We handle art hanging, picture rail systems, sculpture installation and removal, plinth design and fabrication, and custom mirror design for residential, commercial, and public environments across Sydney and beyond.
Art Hanging Services
Professional artwork hanging for homes, offices, hotels, and commercial spaces. We select fixings suited to your wall type, hang works level and at the right height for the room, and leave the space clean. A single piece gets the same attention as a full collection. We work alongside other trades on commercial sites and can handle high-ceilinged and heritage spaces that require specialist rigging or conservation-appropriate fixings.
Picture Rail Installation
Picture rails give you complete flexibility to move and rotate works without putting fixings into your walls. This is particularly useful for heritage properties, rental tenancies, and anyone who likes to change what’s on the wall. We supply and install quality picture rail systems to suit all ceiling heights and wall types, including heritage plaster and decorative mouldings, for residential, rental, and commercial properties.
Sculpture Installation
Large-scale sculpture installation involves real logistical complexity: access, rigging, base preparation, structural requirements, and precise placement. We coordinate all of it. Where structural sign-off is required, we work with engineers and builders to get there. If the path from delivery to final position is complicated, that’s a situation we’ve worked through before.
Sculpture Removal & Relocation
Deinstallation requires the same care as installation, particularly for large bronze and metal works. We manage sculpture removal for clients who are selling, relocating, or renovating, transporting the work safely from its current site to storage, a new location, or a freight handler. We advise on condition assessment before and after movement, and can refer works that need conservation to appropriate specialists.
Plinth Design & Fabrication
A sculpture on the wrong plinth looks wrong. The height, material, proportion, and finish of the base is as important as anything else in the presentation. We design and fabricate custom plinths in timber, stone, steel, and composite materials, matched to the specific work and its environment. For commercial installations, plinths can also be designed to meet OH&S and anti-tamper requirements.
Custom Mirror Design
We design and source custom mirrors for residential and commercial spaces: framed and frameless, across a range of shapes, sizes, and profiles. Our framing capabilities mean a mirror frame can be matched precisely to an existing artwork frame, to your joinery finish, or to a defined interior style. Custom mirrors are available as standalone pieces or as part of a broader interior art project.

Initial Conversation
Tell us about your space, your project, and what you’re looking for. In person, over the phone, or by email, whichever is easiest. No obligation. We’ll ask a few questions to understand the brief before we suggest anything.
Curation & Visualisation
We present a curated shortlist alongside room mock-ups or to-scale renders. We can move quickly or take our time. If nothing in our collection is right, we’ll tell you clearly and help you find another path.
In-Space Preview
For Sydney clients, we can bring shortlisted works to your home or office for a real-world preview at no cost. For commissions and larger projects, this stage involves site visits and detailed scope discussions with your team.
Delivery & Installation
We coordinate everything from there: packing, transport, installation, framing, plinths, and picture rail. You don’t need to manage these separately. That’s our role, and we’ve been doing it for a long time.
Delivery, Freight & Care
Handled carefully, wherever the work needs to go.
We deliver and ship art across Sydney, interstate, and internationally. All works are packed to gallery standard, not couriered in bubble wrap by a general freight company. For high-value shipments, we can arrange all-risk transit insurance and specialist fine art freight.
Sydney Art Delivery
All purchases include delivery within greater Sydney. The same team that works in our galleries packs and delivers the work. We don’t outsource to general couriers. Delivery includes installation where required, and we treat your home with the same care we give the gallery.
Interstate Delivery
We deliver to Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and regional destinations across Australia through specialist art transport partners, not general couriers.
Australia & International Delivery Freight
We ship regularly to New Zealand, the UK, Europe, the US, Asia, and the Middle East. We handle export documentation, CITES permits where required, customs coordination, and packing to international freight standards. For high-value works, specialist fine art freight and all-risk transit insurance can be arranged.
Fine Art Framing
We’ve been framing original artworks in Sydney for over 30 years, to archival and museum conservation standards: UV-protective glazing, acid-free matting, and mounting methods that don’t damage the work over time. We frame canvases, works on paper, photographs, and documents. We’ll advise on frame style, profile, and finish. Typical turnaround is two to three weeks.
Artwork Storage
We store artworks for clients waiting on a renovation, a property settlement, or a commercial project still in progress. Storage is in a controlled environment and the work remains insured throughout. Short-term storage is available for most purchases at no charge. Longer-term arrangements are available on request.
Artwork Care & Condition Advice
How you hang, light, and maintain a work directly affects how it looks and how long it lasts. We advise on lighting, humidity, UV exposure, and cleaning for any work purchased from us. For works that have been in storage or outdoor environments for some time, we can refer you to professional conservators in Sydney and provide a preliminary condition assessment.
Hire & Loan
Trial it first. Or rent it long-term.
Not every client wants to commit to a purchase before seeing a work in their own space. We offer in-home trials for Sydney clients, longer-term hire arrangements for corporate and residential clients, and event hire for production, hospitality, and retail environments. All works come from our full collection.
In-Home Art Trials, Greater Sydney
If you’re considering a purchase and want to see a work in your own light, with your own furniture, we can bring shortlisted pieces to your home at no cost and no obligation. Seeing art in the space where it will actually live is a different experience from seeing it in the gallery. We’ll hang it and give you time to sit with it before you decide. No pressure.
Artwork Hire
Artwork hire is available for corporate offices, hospitality venues, show apartments, film and television productions, and private clients who like to rotate works through their home. Hire periods and pricing are agreed case by case. All works are from our own collection and fully insured. If you find something you want to keep, purchase credit against hire fees can often be arranged.
Corporate Art Hire Programs
A managed hire program lets businesses rotate fresh work through their offices and client spaces on a structured cycle, without the capital outlay of purchasing. We handle selection, delivery, installation, and rotation. Programs are available on 3, 6, or 12-month cycles and can be tailored to your brand environment and budget. Your team doesn’t need to coordinate any of it.
Event & Production Hire
We supply original artworks and sculpture for film, television, advertising, and commercial photography productions, as well as events, pop-ups, trade shows, and hospitality activations. We can work from a brief, a set design, or a visual reference board. Hire includes delivery and collection. Installation is available. We’re used to working with production timelines and on-location access requirements.
