Art Hanging & Picture Rail Installation

We hang for homes, offices, hotels and galleries across Sydney. One painting gets the same attention as a forty piece collection, and we leave the room cleaner than we found it.
What is included
Everything from the fixing to the final clean.
Fixed quote before we start. We work across the Sydney metro area, including Mosman, Clontarf, Double Bay, Bondi, Manly and Cronulla, on single pieces, whole collections, and commercial fitouts running to a builder’s programme.

Wall assessment
Plaster, brick, concrete, stud or heritage lath. We identify the substrate and select fixings rated well beyond the weight of the work. An 1890s terrace in Paddington needs a different approach to a new apartment, and we carry both.

Height and sightlines
Centre height is set for how the room is actually used, seated or standing, then balanced against furniture, joinery, doorways and light sources. Hanging too high is the most common mistake in a self hung room.

Picture rail systems
Supply and install of rail for heritage properties, rental tenancies, and anyone who rotates their collection. Once the rail is up, works move on adjustable cords or rods with no new holes in the wall.
What we hang
Original paintings on canvas and board, works on paper, framed photographs, framed mirrors, textiles, and mounted objects. We handle single statement pieces, salon walls and gallery hangs, and multi floor commercial collections. On commercial sites we work alongside other trades, attend outside business hours where access requires it, and coordinate with project managers to a construction programme.
High ceilings, double height entries, stairwells and heritage spaces that need specialist rigging or conservation appropriate fixings are routine work for us rather than an exception. Where a work is unusually heavy or the wall will not take it, we will say so before booking rather than on the day.

Wall shots and rough dimensions by email or text. We quote from these, so you do not pay for a visit you did not need.

Fixed quote
Priced per piece or hourly, whichever comes out lower for you. Sent the same day in most cases.

Book a window
A two hour arrival window. On commercial sites we work around other trades and can attend after hours.
4
Hung and checked
Levelled, dusted, packaging removed and taken away with us. You sign off before we leave.
