Dutch seafairing bloodline and travelling on cruises to Antarctica twice was just the perfect combination for focusing on the magical light on the sea. I use my camera to capture those moments of perfect light and then translate those into my art practice. I have had the special experience of teaching art on a 6 week cruise around South America and Antarctica. Of course my focus as a artist is the play of light.
