Channel Marker Light (Haiku)

This painting is based on a memory of looking out my car window on the Wisemans car ferry, the  route I took to get to my Hawkesbury River studio. I remember the experience, it was just on dusk -the hill drenched in shadow – the channel marker blinking – everything so serene. I want this painting to be an experience as well as a picture.
