Rachel Boymal

I am a sculptor and painter with two tertiary art degrees, and enjoy exhibiting my work in
solo and group exhibitions. I have been fortunate to receive recognition for my sculpture
through the awards of prizes, as well as gaining a public commission for a large, bronze sculpture, (forecourt at
Collins place, Collins Street, Melbourne), commissioned by AMP.

My artistic style is to depict the human form in a simplified, pared back style. The results are highly stylized
works that reflect the essence of the subject portrayed. I like to suggest, but never define. The eye and mind of
the viewer, then has the pleasure of filling in what is not represented.
