GORDON, Masako
GORDON, Masako
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Masako was educated at the Joshibijutsu University of Art. After completing her studies she traveled around Europe from 1973 – 1977. During this time she studied and exhibited in London and Spain before coming to Australia in 1977 to continue her artistic life.

Oil on canvas has always been a familiar medium on which so many creative and distinctly beautiful artworks have come to life. It is on this medium that Masako has been able to release her ideals and passion. Masako has also been studying the art of sculpture with Stephen Coburn. She has exhibited several of her works at Mosman Art Society.

Masako has enjoyed exhibiting her artwork over the years and has also donated several of her artworks to fundraising events such as CARE Australia and in aid of the Japan Tsumani Red Cross Appeal.
