Art offers me unlimited chances to delve into how I see the world and stand in it. At times I paint to simply create a beautiful landscape. Composition and colour balance are my main objective with these, my landscapes are always stylised with careful consideration to how they will sit in a personal environment. They are always a pleasure to paint, I genuinely love watching a blank canvas transform into a landscape in which I can put my personal stamp on.

Other paintings I tend to paint with almost no real objective other than how I feel at that moment, these paintings always take on another form day to day as I work out each section, ultimately my desire is to bring a canvas together with clarity and purpose. A visual balance is crucial, the thought of sending a painting off into the world in which I don't feel has had a breath of life bothers me.
