SOVEREIGN OF THE SEA
(GARNER SCULPTOR)

Exhibition Comments:

GARNER- FOUND OBJECT ASSEMBLAGE SCULPTURE

Exhibiting Level One Open Gallery EASTER TRADING DAILY 12-6pm

Garner is a 70 year old sculptor originally from Texas. Garner sources and  uses found metal objects to create mixed medium assemblage sculpture .

Some objects are now rare, never to be repeated objects which have been sourced from old settlements in the outback. The assemblage sculpture is then welded, glued, sandblasted  and mounted.

Each sculpture contains objects,  some of which are many years old - each artwork contains a special object relating to the story of each sculpture. Each sculpture is entirely unique never to be repeated due the rare pieces of carefully selected old metal.

After many scavenging expeditions to the outback, Garner has collected, collated and stored enough  unique objects,  to fullfill his lifetime of current  and future sculpting .

His  quest, to recycle metal,  and create unique sculpture from discarded metal objects.
