EXHIBITING LEVEL ONE Open Gallery from March 7
On a recent trip to New Zealand, I was entranced by the turbulence of the west coast and its wild ocean. I saw whales and dolphins and fur seals and giant sea kelp, which seemed like a portal to another world, kept secret by the fish.
At home, on Scotland Island, I am surrounded by water that constantly changes and adapts to the whims of the weather and beneath that water lives the same culture of creatures who connect, metaphysically, in one way or another. I skim across the water every day and marvel at their ingenuity. SPIRIT FISH is a snippet of their story.
