The power and mystery in the earth we live in is often unseen to our eyes, yet goes on in its amazing diverse beauty without audience. Marble cut open or ancient wood sliced, a fossilized leaf or insect, can leave us humbled and awe inspired, at the majesty of nature.
This is what I hope to convey in my work.
I have worked in a range of media mostly in acrylics, pastels and oils; I have a great love of coloured glass, and now paint in high gloss mixed media; as it allows me a means of expressing all these diverse inspirations.
