On May the 7th, 1865, Ben Hall was buried in Forbes, just 2 days before his 28th birthday. Unusual for the time, he was buried in consecrated ground, in the Anglican section of the cemetery. While I was visiting the site in July 2011, a small bird landed on the fresh flowers which are always on his grave. |
