This rise in an otherwise fairly flat landscape, known as The Pinnacle, is located 40Km south of Forbes and about 20 Km from Ben Hall’s home at Sandy Creek. As most of the other gang members lived in the area, The Pinnacle was an obvious location for both a lookout and a hideout. |
